ANDARTA

Andarta invites us to witness the fusion of video, conceptual art, contemporary dance, environmental sculpture and the rugged landscapes of the desert. The film captures the multiple layers of light, shadows and geometric shapes with repeating patterns forming a saturated palette. This composition constructs a vivid, haunting and dream-like installation of cinematic overview.

Carpe Diem

'Carpe Diem' is the conceptual, experimental non-narrative trilogy, which exhibits the great performance of Li Kehua as a young woman, who wishes to draw attention towards the silent, brave occurrences of nature, by unleashing the unlimited within the wild, the human and herself.

Durbar

This video was filmed and recorded live in the beautiful desert near Mitzpe Ramon. Durbar (دربار – darbār) is a Persian word for the king’s reunion place – a meeting point for the Persian and the Indian musical traditions, in this case, bringing together two of the most appreciated instruments in the music of the orient, the oud and the sarod.

Shanti // ANIMAL

I met Shanti during the COVID-19 lockdown, and invited her to do make some art in the desert together. Shanti brought her new song “Animal” and invited me to film a video. We had a great time shooting this video in the desert dunes of Israel.
